To Love Ru Darkness is similar and at the same time different compared to the original series. Of course, it has massive amounts of fanservice and comedy just like the original!
However, at the same time, there is an overarching story that is actually interesting. The story follows Konjiki no Yami's past, the people who "made" her and various interplanetary "conspiracies".
