The “Dried Female” and her “Bucho” are back! After a hugely popular manga series and two drama series, Hotaru no Hikari now makes the leap to the big screen with its first feature film! When we last left the lovely couple – a professional woman who spends her days lazing around and her perfectionist boss – the two finally overcame their difficulties and became husband and wife. The film picks up on their lives two years later, with the married couple going off to Rome on their honeymoon! In addition to Ayase Haruka and Fujiki Naohito returning as Hotaru and her boss/husband Takano for their special Roman holiday, the Hotaru no Hikari movie also stars Matsuyuki Yasuko (Smuggler) and Johnny’s star Tegoshi Yuya.
